4. Contacting you with updates

If you have enquired about our work, we may from time to time get in touch about our services where we think it is relevant to you or your business. Every such message will include a simple way to opt out, and if you tell us you don’t want to hear from us, we will stop. If you are an individual (for example, a sole trader), we will only send you marketing where you have agreed to it or where the law otherwise allows it.

You can opt out at any time by emailing hello@tiltedheads.com.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep relevant records for as long as the working relationship lasts and for the period needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes (typically up to six years after the end of the contract). We may delete your information sooner if you ask us to.

6. Who we share your information with

We use trusted service providers who handle information on our behalf, only as needed to run our business:

  • Google (Gmail / Google Workspace): receives and stores the emails generated by the contact form and your direct emails.

  • Framer: provides and hosts our website, including its fonts, images and video, and our form tool. It may process technical data about visitors and store form submissions on our behalf.

We may also share information where required by law, or with professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) where needed. We do not share your details with anyone else for their own marketing.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Our website platform (Framer) may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver the site securely and make it work properly. These don’t require your consent.

The fonts, images and video on our site are hosted by Framer, and we do not embed third-party content that sets cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies or tools. If we add any, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

8. Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers (including Google and Framer) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the EU. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US data bridge, adequacy regulations, or standard contractual clauses (the UK addendum / IDTA), so that your information remains protected.

  • access the personal information we hold about you

  • have inaccurate information corrected

  • ask us to delete your information

  • ask us to restrict how we use it

  • object to our use of it, including for direct marketing (which we will always honour)

  • receive certain information in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email hello@tiltedheads.com. We will respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first at hello@tiltedheads.com so we can try to put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and keep you informed of what we are doing about it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including relying on secure, access-controlled services. No online system is completely secure, so please take care about what you send.
